Cardiac 1st Responder Training

Become a PHECC CFR Instructor and carry out CFR training as a qualified instructor. 

Platinum Safety’s PHECC CFR Instructor course running in Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Tipperary, Kerry, Clare, Dublin and nationwide on request training is designed to follow the national standards for Cardiac First Response Community Instructors laid down by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).

Platinum Safety’s CFR Instructor course will ensure demonstrable competency in the practical conduct of CFR Courses. The ‘training for trainers’ section of Platinum Safety’s C.F.R. Instructor course will enable delegates to deliver training which is specifically tailored to the standards laid down by PHECC.

How do I become a CFR Community Instructor?

A pre-requisite for entry onto Platinum Safety’s CFR Community Instructor course is that an individual has completed a CFR Community training course or a First Aid Response Certificate course within the last 12 months. The minimum age to become a CFR Community Instructor is 18 years of age.

Course Aims

Platinum Safety’s 2-day CFR Instructor course aims to bring students up to CFR Community Instructor standard which will enable them to provide CFR Community training courses.

PHECC CFR Assessment

To complete Platinum Safety’s PHECC CFR Community Instructor Assessment, which we run regularly Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Tipperary, Kerry, Clare, Dublin and nationwide on request, students will be required to assist on one CFR course, be supervised on the 2nd CFR course and be assessed by or on behalf of PHECC on the 3rd course.
